Dear Ray Strong Bull Of wings,

Yes i think that when the names of Indian tribes are used to represent a school that it is mostly offensive. i understand how they are trying to respect and honor the Sioux, but it mostly comes off offensive. I know that when people dress up as Indians and dance around it is rude. Those people are faking a religious expericene which only Indians should do and understand. I think that you of all people, an Indian, should undertand that you need to ban the nick name "fighting Sioux" from the league.
I hope you have a nice day,

Ray Strong Bull of Wings-
As Chairman of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, I think we all as a tribe need to be aware of all the people that this issue of the Fighting Sioux mascot is effecting. We need to come together and fight for the right of our fellow Native Americans all over the world and make a change in the name of all the teams that are offending our people. It is time for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe to stand up and make a difference.

RSB of Wings-

The fighting Souix is a respectful name because it is highlighting the idea that the Souix were fighters and they still remain with that legacy today. The goddamn Indians of America should realize that UND is trying to keep a little bit of the Native American culture in America. I don't really cre for Indians anyway so i don't care that much but that it what i think. See you.

Dear Ray Strong Bull of Wings,

I feel that the Sioux should be forced to change their mascot. This name demeans the Native American culture. These are real people with real feelings. I understand how men feel about the racism in the North Dakota Culture.
You as a Native American understand how the Sioux feel, and should vote towards a change of name.

Thanks,
Doris Strickland
