Gail Hayden

Hello, My name is Gail Hayden. I live in Bentrock, Montana with my husband Wesley and my son David. We live in a white two-story frame house across the street from the courthouse where Wesley works. I wish Wesley were an attorney so we could live somewhere other than Montana. I am a Lutheran and I fear for David's soul.

Tell you family that people are starting to complain about the fighting Souix and keeping the UND mascot name. The name should stay because it isn't offensive and the Indians shouldn't have a say in it anyway. I hope you agree with me. I love you. Tell David Nutty is sick. Enough said about Nutty.

Your nuts, why are you such a racist pig? The indians should have a say in what the mascot is if it represents them. And your language is terrible, Gawd! oops
P.S. I'll call the glue factory for nutty

Dear Gail,

how have you been Gail? I miss Maire Little solider, do you? I think that after what happened to Frank we should join forces and do what ever we can to try and stop people from mocking their cultures. I think that we should support the NCAA in allowing the tribal members vote on this.I hope you stand by my side. Thank for your time.

Dear Gail

Thanks for getting back to me on you view of the issue. However, when you say that you are in support of the mascot, I have to disagree with you. My tribe is the Standing Rock Siuox and we have historically lived in North Dakota, somewhat near the University. Our stance on the mascot is that we don’t support it. Since I was born and raised on our reservation, this is my view too. We believe that this mascot is degrading and misinforming towards the Native American race and that there are many other mascots available to use.

First of all I am going to haunt you for the rest of your life if you keep this crap up. And second of all not all the Indians are against the whole mascot issue. Some of them are honored. So we should keep it the way it is because not all the Indians are against it.

Dear Gail,
I think that you are taking my opinion to PERSONAL level. You did not even mention what side of the issue you are on. You didn't mention how you take my side and you are thinking in terms of the events around us and not what we discussing to get rid of.
